Playa Hermosa de Cobano is the gentler beach just north of Santa Teresa. Wide open beach break with spread-out peaks, ideal for lessons and longboard sessions on mid-to-high tide. On 2-4ft S/SW swells it offers playful, fast but manageable sections; on bigger swells it can close out, making it the go-to option when Santa Teresa gets heavy.
