No social media posts required.
1 category = $30 · 2 categories = $60 · 3 categories = $90
Free or paid — everyone competes equally. No advantage either way.
Up to 3 videos per category
More videos = the system can vary your clips across heats. Only 1 video? It gets reused every round (natural disadvantage).
Max 60 seconds per video
The clip must show the complete maneuver clearly (aerial, barrel, or combo).
Anti-cheat verification
At the end of every clip you must show: (1) the official hand signal, and (2) a unique code generated by the platform. This proves the clip was filmed for this tournament. Missing either = video disqualified.
Automatic bracket generation
After the submission month ends, the platform randomly groups all 128 participants into heats of 4.
Random video selection
The system picks 1 random video per surfer for each heat. You can't choose which clip competes — the platform decides.
4 videos play simultaneously
All 4 clips are shown side-by-side in a 2×2 grid. Judges score them by comparing all 4 at the same time — no one-by-one reviewing.
1 advances, 3 eliminated
The surfer with the highest median score advances. The other 3 are out. This repeats through rounds → semis → final → champion.
MC Host (Live)
Presents each heat, breaks down what's happening, and controls the audience view — can zoom into a single video or go back to split-screen.
3 Judges (Live)
Each judge has their own judging app. They always see the fixed 2×2 grid — never affected by the MC's view. Independent, professional scoring.
Each judge scores from 0.0 to 10.0. The platform takes all 3 scores, drops the highest and the lowest, and keeps the middle one as the final score.
Example:
Judge A: 8.5 · Judge B: 7.0 · Judge C: 9.2
Drop 9.2 (highest) and 7.0 (lowest) → Final score: 8.5
This prevents favoritism and extreme outliers. Fair for everyone.
